Cheesy Jalapeño Popper Sausage Balls – The Irresistible Party Bites Everyone Grabs First
Ingredients:
1 lb mild pork sausage
8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2 cups Pepper Jack cheese, freshly grated from a block
3 tablespoons pickled jalapenos, finely chopped
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with foil. Lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the pork sausage, softened cream cheese, Bisquick baking mix, grated Pepper Jack cheese, and chopped jalapenos.
Mix with your hands or a stand mixer with a paddle attachment just until everything is combined. Do not overmix.
Use a small 1-tablespoon cookie scoop to form uniform 1-inch balls.
Place the balls about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly golden brown.
For best results, ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F before serving.
