Voodoo Spice

 





Voodoo Spice   

ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons salt  

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar  

- 1 tablespoon regular paprika  

- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika  

- 1 tablespoon jalapeno powder (or cayenne)  

- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic (or garlic powder)  

- 1 tablespoon onion powder  

- 1 tablespoon dried basil  

- 1 tablespoon black pepper  

- 1 teaspoon white pepper  

instructions:

1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and mix well  .

2. Store the seasoning mix in an airtight container in your cupboard for 8-12 months—give it a stir occasionally to keep it fresh  .

3. For a finer rub, run the mix through a spice grinder  .

4. This recipe is enough for 2-3 racks of ribs, a 14-pound turkey, or about 3 whole chickens  .

5. Discard any leftover rub that has touched raw meat for safety reasons  .

A bold and flavorful blend perfect for grilling, roasting, and adding a spicy twist to your dishes!
